suggested od set-up

im looking for 3 od's to get me all the sounds i could possibly need... my band does blues, classic rock, and lots o' 90's covers...so i think i have blues covered with my eternity...my band does some zeppelin neil young so something that goes crunch for that and probably a light od for the 90's rhythm stuff. im thinking a half gainer or ltd for light gain and maybe barber super sport for rock stuff? what are your suggestions

I have both a strat, and a HRD. The OCD RAWKS on it. Both as a distortion and as a light od.

I've found that using a Kotv4 and an Abunai2 give a TON of versatility and a whole lot of good tone. 2 sides on the Kot, 3 voicing settings on the Abunai2, and the all stack well with each other.

I play in a cover band as well and need a few tones for similar types of music and so far the Digitech hardwire CM-2 OD and SC-2 Distortion have beat out a lot of pedals for me most being the very popular much higher priced ones too.
With just the 2 pedals you can get 3 shades of gain the CM-2 for low gain the SC-2 for heavy crunch tones and stacked for high gain crunch and solo tones, both pedals have that amp like feel and use a very good Bass and High EQ section that works great with your amp which in my case is a Hot Rod Deluxe with a Private Jack Speaker and JJ tubes absolutely killer tones.

For GTBTimes I use a BMF Purple Nurple. Can't you get some nice OD w/ the London by turning down the guitar? With the amp breaking up a little, you should be getting some nice tones with that fuzz alone, right?

I play a tele and strat through a HRD and use a WIIO for basic low gain light OD into an Xotic AC plus - right side set for med-highish crunch and the left side set for boost. I find this combo to be pretty versatile through a clean amp. hope that helps.

i like the sound of this set-up just a bit pricey for me...ill give the abunai a look but it better be really good for that much money id prefer to keep it around 150-180ish
