Went to Kid Rock last night...

Other than adding a few new songs, and deleting a few old songs...it was the same damned show we see every tour...I am not really a fan, my wife is...but talk about mob mentality, getting everyone stirred up with politics and the red white and blue...man just play some good music...

plus he spent more time playing classic rock riffs than his own music...wtf

I am hoping its a while before he tours again as I am sick of that crap...i dont even like his newer stuff...

sorry had to rant...wasted 9 hours (time getting there, the show, getting home) when I could have been badly playing music at home on my guitar much more interesting than his crap

anyone else see him lately??

No interest. Even if Pamela's there, in her marriage sack.

Was it worth the gas?

You have my sympathy. You went above and beyond the call of husband duty suffering through that show.

I thought married women have a "girls night out" for things like this.

a little light sedation and a couple hours of therapy, you'll be fine.

It's easy to bash, but can you do better?

I'm not really a fan, but I did go to one of K-Rocks shows a decade or so ago and thought he was a decent enough musician with some shtick and shmaltz thrown in, all and all not a bad show. However, I do beleive one of his shows is enough to get the full jist of his act.

I see this argument often and it's just not compelling. The point isn't whether the critic can do better, the point is the critic has paid to be entertained by a professional entertainer and was left wanting.

My brother's wife is a big Kid Rock fan, I don't dig it but she's a lunatic about it.
