Swart Night Light mounted inside of an AST

Has anyone tried mounting their Night Light attenuator inside of their Atomic Space Tone combo? I was wondering if it would fit mounted on the underside of the top, as it looks like there may be enough room there. I just purchased an AST (being shipped now) and I'm certain I'll need an attenuator for home use. I'd just prefer to have it IN the amp a'la BrakeLite than sitting on top of the amp.

Thanks!

Haven't tried it but I can tell you that real estate inside the AST is extremely limited. You might want to give Michael or Kelly at Swart a call-I know they'd be glad to advise you.

I emailed Swart and received this reply from Kelly in 6 minutes:

"Welcome to the Swart Family. Unfortunately, I dont think the Night Light will fit too well within the amp. It would be hard to adjust anywhere but the bottom and even this would be problematic. Throw some rubber feet from RS on it and it's fine on top of the amp. Or leave it on bottom outside. I think it's going to be a tough road for an internal solution, though."

Gotta love the fast customer service there. At least it's a small attenuator so it won't take up the room a Ho attenuator would on top of an amp.

Besides, if you mount it inside the amp you won't get to see the cool light show it puts on I just purchased one and am running it on top of my amp (a Vox AC15 Heritage head).

It's quite a cool little piece of gear, and despite being designed specifically for use with Swart amps it works quite nicely with the Vox.
