The premise of the video is rather chilling.

Just watched the vid - she's tuned to death. That's why it sounds phony- it is phony.

At this point, you really need to blame the producers/engineers down there. I'm a small fish and there's no way I'd let AT artifacts like that out of of one of my sessions... Do they just not care?

hmmmm... this AT baloney is really pervasive. the Sugarchicky has some pipes for sure... and I am just referencing the one unmistakably-unmolested live sonic performance i saw her give at ... what was that award show... she did a duet with the woman from England that does the smoky torch routine.... she is kinda large...

anyhow, the SugarChick just caterwauled and fat out laid it down... I actually felt bad for the British girl as she was really outclassed. AutoTune Must Die!™

We may be stuck right now in a version of what rock went through in 1988 so far as what's dominating the scene. Maybe somewhere in the pipeline is a country version of what Nirvana did to Rock. Someone to strip it back down and get rid of the glitz for awhile.
Theres quite a bit, you don't hear it on the radio too much. Jamey Johnson is pretty good. You have to search it out. I don't mind the modern "country" but I keep in mind that it's not the old country. I mean, it's still country, just not the old stuff. Same with rock music to me. The new stuff isnt like the good stuff of old, it just the "New" rock.

Jennifer is actually a trained Opera singer. She has a HUGE voice.

Then it's the producers fault.

If she actually does have a voice, her production team has performed the equivalent of what Jeff Lynne did to the Heartbreakers, on the TP records he produced...

Whatever you would call the opposite of "polishing a turd."

Funny the video for "Stuck Like Glue" starts of with a commercial with horses in it

I had to google the song Stuck Like Glue

As a pop song, it has a very catchy hook and is well done. My personal preference: I really dislike the bridge, a lot. The 'rap' seems way out of place and hokey.
The rest sounds pretty good. I wonder if it was written by the same person who wrote Live Like We're Dying for Kris Allen (AI winner). I hear some of the same type of things stylistically in it.

It's not classic country, but I really don't like the classic, traditional country.

Her accent is so fake and her voice is so gummy and nasal that I just can't get with their music.

I like many of the songs on their first two records. But since, the material they've released is unlistenable.
