New Jim Campilongo interview at Virtual Woodshed

Hey Folks,
Thought you all might be interested in checking out this interview I recently conducted with Tele-master Jim Campilongo.

http://www.virtualwoodshed.com/jim-c...ngo-interview/

It's totally free, nothing to buy or sign up for. Please take a look and let me know what you think! I'm trying to provide as much free content as possible for anybody who's interested. Also, if you like the interview, feel free to drop Jim an email via his website www.jimcampilongo.com.

Thanks!

PS - if it's not kosher to post this kind of thread, please let me know. I'm new to TGP and certainly not trying to break any rules!

EXCELLENT INTERVIEW! Thank you.
Jim's great, and this was a really informative read.

Love the part about him 'snapping his neck' with the bends.... I do the same, and have the same terrifying fear!

That was a great interview. He seems like someone you could really sit down and have a conversation with.

I'd really love to hear him do a Richard Thompson tune. I'd really love to hear him play with Richard Thompson; that could be great with sufficient weirdness.

Thanks for sharing that, it was a great interview. Jim was cracking me up, he has such a great sense of humor.

On meeting Roy Buchanan: "Anyway at the end of it, I turned around to walk out and I think he thought I was wasted because he shouted "Hey! You drive home safely!" I just nodded, I still couldn’t even speak. I’m pretty sure he thought I was high and I always crack up on that because I got sobriety advice from Roy Buchanan! [laughs]" LOL

Monster player, and I love how he doesn't put on airs about his talent, he makes it very clear that if you want to be good, you gotta work your @ss off, which he clearly does.

Thanks all! I really appreciate all the positive feedback. Coming down the pike we've got Carbon Leaf guitarist Carter Gravatt and later slide master Lee Roy Parnell.
