Skreddy Lunar Module Deluxe

I've recently acquired this pedal and it's really quite different than most dirt pedals I've tried. It has a very strong voicing to my ears, like it seems marc had a very specific sound he wanted to get with this pedal and no matter what you do it will sound how he wants it to

the good thing is that sound is a very interesting and complex sound. At first it seemed a bit mid heavy, nasally even, but even just playing in a mix of loops I created that voicing really came to life. It almost sounds like two dirt pedals stacked or something... when I kick it on it really changes the whole sound coming out of my amp. I guess maybe I'm used to more "flavorless" dirt pedals heheh.

It also seems to shine with my marshall compared to my fender, the sound was still good through the fender but just "better" with the marshall. Really powerful and thick sounding. I'm interested to see how it does with my mesa MKIIB at a outdoor gig I have coming up this weekend.

Anyway, marc gave me some of his personal favorite settings for the pedal and I'm experimenting with them but if anyone else has favorites they want to share please feel free. Or just let me know how you use this pedal.

Please post some of those settings so those with the original LM can try them too!

"Try the clean boost setting:
range and fuzz all the way down, body at noonish or so, and volume
and brite really high. This reminds me of the Colorsound Power Driver
as used in Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and Animals albums. And
the all-out fuzz mode, with volume at noon, brite at about 3:00
o'clock, fuzz just shy of cranked, body just north of zero, and range
up high like 3:00 o'clock or so. It's very much a firebreathing,
silicon ToneBender at that point"

It's hard to get a bad sound out of the Lunar Module. I think it's my favorite Skreddy pedal.

Just got my Echo and got lost playing it for about an hour. Marc definitely has the Midas touch!

He was going for the "Time" solo from Dark Side of the Moon. It does that sound to a T. I actually haven't touched the trimpots in mine (standard version) because I like it and don't want to lose that sound but eventually I'll experiment. That's one advantage of the deluxe-easy to find your settings. I tend to leave the trims alone on my Screwdriver too after I got them set.

I think he tunes most of his pedals with a certain sound in mind-at least the muffs and the LM, which is like a fuzz face with 3 transistors-kind of like a cross between a fuzz face and tonebender. I find I can get both sounds or a close enough proximity by varying my playing style. It doesn't clean up like a fuzz face though.

I've been playing with my LM (standard) for a few days. Is this really a fuzz, or more of a distortion?
