NAD and clip (Cornford Mk50H 'Blackface')

Got this one off the bay, always wanted to try it and got lucky with my bid

LOVE the amp, very very versatile but stays true to its own tone.

Here I did a clip with a "lower" gain setting (well I usually play lots of gain) for a more classic rock vibe. Done the clip on the second day I owned the amp, after I retubed it with glass I had flying around (nothing fancy).

With the two Gains and two Masters as well as the good working loop, this is a full on gigging machine, that doesn't need a boost or anything to go from almost totally clean to full on highgain overdrive. I am impressed!

The clip is played in one go, using the two gains of the amp and guitar volume.

Guitar is a Gibson SG with BareKnuckle Pickups.
Cab is a '73 Greyback Marshall straight.
Up front I used a RetroSonic Phaser and an RMC3 Wah.
Mic is an SM57. In the loop there is a bit of delay from the M13.
Added a bit of Reverb in Logic afterwards.

Thanks a lot. Played it with a MM Axis today and it sounded very different, more modern and heavy. It's a beast of an amp, everything seems just right, and it can be very easy to play!!
