Shawn Purcell 4-tet playing "These Are Soulful Days"

Hey Everybody,

It's been a while since I've thrown something on TGP. Pat Martino has always been one of my biggest influences and I just love this tune, written by Cal Massey. Pat recorded this tune in the 70s with Don Patterson and then later on with Joey Defrancesco. Just some really nice changes to blow over!

Here is the video link, my solo starts around 4:19 and trading begins around 9:40 I have some other clips on You Tube as well... Sorry for the semi-poor sound quality from my camcorder.

I hope you enjoy! The pianist Chip Stephens just floors me!

Ha, Ha! Thanks Harry! I'm unstringing a ukelele as we speak It was great seeing you (although not enough) at NGW this summer, next summer I promise I'll hang more!!

Hey Greg, The Heritage isn't really totally stock, I put a set of Wolfetone "The Legend" PAFs in there as well as CTS pots and Jensen pio tone cap... The strings are D'Addario 12-16-19-27-37-48, the wound strings are pure nickels...

The Boogie has Weber Ceramic Californias in it as well I had a Boss RV for some mild delay as well...
