"Country Night" Tonight at Mr. T's Bowl, Highland Park, Los Angeles

Hey y'all,

My band, Sam Mellon and the Skylarks are playing at the "Country Night" (i'm using the quotes in an intentional skeptical way). We're definitely in the Alt-Country/Cosmic-Americana/Roots-Rock vein and the other bands on the bill are folk-rock-ish.

A friend of mine (a former students) has a band playing tonight too, they're called The Long Holidays. Jim's band is very cool, he'll bust out the Ukulele or play a surf number and he's very entertaining in a Jonathan Richmond-sort-of-way.

Anyway, I'm excited to play out -- It'll be my first gig with my new (new to me) Morgan AC20 head/cab (from a fellow TGP'er).
