Exclude Sections From View

While implementing this as suggested had some issues, we got the message that it would be nice to allow our members to ignore sections that do not interest them. Some might want to skip the Pub while others might wish to avoid the temptation of the Emporia. We found a way to allow individuals to ignore any section on the board. When a section is ignored, it will no longer be displayed in the main forum listing nor will its posts show up when doing a new posts search.

To enable this feature:

1. Click on User CP in the navbar at the top of the screen
2. Click on Edit Options in the left sidebar
3. Scroll down to the bottom and under Miscellaneous Options there's a section called "Forums To Exclude From View". Select the section(s) that you wish to ignore and click "Save Changes".
