Songs that are still fun to play!!

I got my Axe-FX a few weeks ago and I was going through some of the presets. I found a backing track to War Pigs and still find it a fun song to play.

I'm not sure how much of what I just heard was the backing track and how much was your playing. Presumably, the drums and bass were backing track, and the guitar and vocals are you. Assuming this to be the case, hats off to you sir. I think your lead playing is actually quite a bit better than Toni Iommi's (spelling?). I dig his riffs, and appreciate how much impact his playing has had on the hard rock/heavy metal genre, but it has always seemed obvious to me that he was working with a handicap when he soloed (well no duh, he's missing several fingertips!). In any case, your version here sounds fantastic. Great effing song eh?

Your singing was cool too.

Thanks for the compliments guys!!

I wish I could take credit for the vocals but it's not me. The backing track had the vocals. Someone said this was the backing track to the Guitar Hero game but I have no way to verify that.

There is only one small spot (around 3:35) where there is a 5 second lead part in the backing track. Everything else is me.

I'm really digging the Axe-FX. I'm having more fun playing because I'm not dealing with room and mic issues. Now I can sell some of my unused equpiment!
