Longest Time You've Waited For A New Amp?

What is the longest time someone has waited for a new amp after they ordered it?

How many weeks/month/years has someone waited past the due date when an amp was said to be done? (Example, the builder or store tells you "your amp will be done in 3 months" and reality is you got it a decade later...)

I've heard stories of guys waiting years for a Dumble. Someone once mentioned putting a large amount of money on an amp and years later still never have recieved it. Any others wait that long? Was it worth it? Let's hear the stories boys...

Custom ordered Heritage Colonial, maroon-stained maple face, 2 months from order to delivered, right on time.

So sad that they are no longer manufacturing amps.

That's about as long as I'd be able to wait; any longer than that, I'll spend my money elsewhere. I'm just not a very patient guy.

Ordered my Carol Ann OD2 (100w6L6) in June, IIRC, and it's due in this week!

I expect it to be worth the wait...we'll see soon enough.

Been waiting for my Bad Cat preamp for about 3 months now. Hopefully it should be here sometime this month. Luckily I've got a lot of other stuff to play with, and working on starting a business, so I'm busy enough I don't mind waiting. Of course, I want it before Christmas! Although, that would be a hell of a Christmas present for myself!

2 Months wait for a Laney Vh100R. Way too long, IMO for what is a production amp.

I feel the need to politely verify this as I don't want incorrect information posted on our lead times. Not sure where June came from, but we certainly didn't have an order then.

I got the actual verified sales order on 6th August from the Dealer, which was the date that the specification was conmfirmed to the Dealer.
That is day 1 as far as we are concerned. My first contact on this order was in July but not a verified sales order. My note states end user undecided on cab colors/grille combinations.
Nothing goes in to the scheduling until it's a 100% complete order and verified as such in writing by the Dealer. Otherwise we can end up with wrong specifications when the customer is undecided on some aspect.

I'm sure you'll like it. The color combination looks cool.
