Octron Users...

Any suggestions on use and 'tuning' the inernal trimmers...?

Make sure you read the online manual from the Foxrox site, which well describes the internal controls. It helped me alot.

I turned down the octave up tone trimmer some to remove some treble harshness and also turned down the octave up gain, so it's a little cleaner. The octave up mode setting I have at the B setting. The octave down tone I set in the middle.

I think there are other settings in this thread.

I dime the octave DOWN Tone for maximum hugeness. If it's too much I just dial back the DOWN level. For the upper I leave my Octron in what I call Vintage mode, so Mode 1 (A), UP Drive pretty high & UP Tone fairly bright. On my Octron2 I use the Modern mode, so Mode 2 (B), Drive is midway and so is Tone. Trying one into the other = some seriously FAT evil tones.
