recommend me an amp!

i'm a little bit out of the loop as far as newer amps so i'd figured i'd ask you guys...

here's what i'm looking for:

1) must be a combo; i prefer a 1/12 because weight is an issue
2) 50 watts max- i play smaller clubs and am always mic'd
3) prefer two footswitchable channels, but will work with a sick clean and pedals for od
4) prefer an effects loop
5) prefer el34s but if it sounds good it sounds good
6) under $1400 or so used max (cheaper is best, however)

let me know some recommendations!
thanks!
Brian

Apart from the EL34s you may want to check out the Mesa Express 5:25 (EL84) or 5:50 (6L6). Those amps are very versatile and have all of the other features you list.

+ 1 on the Mesa's. Also check out Egnater. I have a Rebel 30 and love it. They make a combo, and with some upgraded tubes you'd be well within range.

Look at the Traynors too. They have a couple you might like.

Egnater Renegade (60 to 18 watts, 6L6 and EL34)
Orange Rockerverb 50 MKII combo
Mesa Stiletto ACE combo
Mesa Electradyne (6L6 or EL34, 90 or 45 watts)
Diezel Einstein (more pricey but definitely worth it)

Non-EL34
Mesa F-30(EL84)/F-50(6L6)
Egnater Rebel 30 (6V6 and EL84)
Mesa Express 5:50 (6L6)
Mesa Lonestart Special (el84)

I would make a definative recommendation if I knew what the application was. But you have a lot of options.
