One of Those Moments When it Comes Together

I recently purchased a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III with an improved drive channel. However, I've been looking for a good overdrive/distortion to drive the clean channel. I've tried several TS variants - sound ok but nothing special. Then I dusted off my v3 OCD in HP mode - WOW!! What a great combination!! The OCD brings this amp to life big time in the clean and drive channels. BIG difference. I haven't been using the OCD much but with this amp we have a winner.

Oddly enough I find the OCD with this amp to sound better running at 9 volts thru my PP2+ vs. a standalone Dunlop 18 volt adapter.
