Buffalo/WNY/Rochester NY area D-style get together?

Anybody in the WNY Buffalo area with any D-style amp(s)? I own a Custom Quinn SDO-Reverb with built in D-lator 100w w/ EL34's, #102/#183 Voicing.

It would be cool to try a few different makers/style's out

Carol-Ann
Two-Rock
Bludotone
Ceriatone
Redplate
Quinn
Glaswerks
Fuchs

and etc. as there are tons of different d-style's out there.

I don't own any of those either, but would be interested in attending.

Bump, there's already about 10 people interested in getting together now. We have a few Redplate's,a Glaswerks Zingaroo, a Fuchs Overdrive Supreme coming.

Anybody Else interested? I'd like to set the date for Feb or March and rent out a Room in West Seneca NY to get together.

The closest I have to a "D-Style" rig is a Zendrive Clone through a '68 Showman. I'd still be up for popping in and checking out some of those nice amps, though.

I've been thinking about putting together a mini amp-fest too ... but, I was thinking about finding a bar that is open early and has a slow time or slow night. My work mates and I did this for an open jam, and the owner was as happy as a lark, since they sold a boat load of fish fries. The success was due to the fact that one person was in charge and that person enforced time limits. Unfortunately, this bar is too small for amp-fest volumes.

Just a thought ... but if anyone knows any bar owners that might be interested, it might be worth looking into for this or a separate event.
