I haven't been around much lately and just heard about this. I'm stunned. Barry tried to get me back into playing slide a while ago..his smile says it all.

RIP Barry

I didn't know him, but from what I've read, he was a wonderful human being.

RIP Barry

Fair winds and following seas Barry - You were an inspiration to me and many others, thank you always.

I sincerely hope the gear in your next destination exceeds your expectations

Peace to those grieving, and may Barry's family be consoled knowing that not many have been blessed by such a great man as he...

P.S. After not being around here too much lately, and reading through this entire thread, I once again see the greatness that TGP represents.

And even though we have lost a great, Barry himself would tell us to keep going, "Just do it"...that smile will never, ever fade

Condolences to Barry's family and friends. He sounds like the kind of guy all of us hope we can be...his life was cut short, but it was lived to the fullest.

Seems like we should do this, ie express all this deep appreciation and heartfelt connection and admiration while folks are still around. I keep thinking about that.

I just saw this and feel terrible. I'm not on TGP as much these days, but I remember him well from when I was.
RIP Barry.

Sorry to hear it - as usual I'm last to know. RIP.

I remember him posting many a time. I'm not often posting here, just lurking and learning so.....

Condolences to the family.
