thinking of axe fx for recording or chandler TG2?

I am thinking of trying the axe fx for my home studio.
I have alot of great amps and ribbon mics like a royer 121.
Alos thought of getting the chandler TG2 which is wonderful on guitars.
I never liked modeling in the past but here the axe fx is a
whole different league.
Any opinions? both would be the ultimate.
