So, is the new Klon ever going to come out?

I keep checking back to the website every day in hopes that I'll get lucky.

Anyone know anything about the launch schedule for the new versions?

Wish I knew - I'd like to get another Klon. I've owned lots of clean boosts and to my ears the Klon is still the best. Nothing else has quite that sound of girth and clarity. It makes other boosts sound a little weak.

I haven't heard anything on the street and I'm out there every day. I'll ask the shoe shine guy tomorrow.

I keep seeing these 'charity' Klons pop up on eBay, regularly fetching $1k. So they're still being built, just auctioned away for prices that take advantage of their unavailability. The last one I saw said there were 50-60 old enclosures left over that would be used, but they hadn't been officially counted yet. Not sure why it's so hard to count enclosures, but what do I know. I bought a clone, forget paying $1k for a pedal that's going to plummet in value when the new version is finally released.

He's got less than 60 days before people can call him a liar so if Dec 31st rolls around and there is no new Klon then you can get upset.

I had a gold horsie in the 90s and sold it, mainly because it was so honkin' big. I'd sure be interested in a smaller version of it if the price isn't out of the stratosphere.

Sure wish Bill would get that thing on the market..

50-60 old enclosure pedals to be built and sold at $1k, before the new one comes out? That's alot of dough!!! I'd like to try the new one too, the price and size (plus the midhump) of the regular version put me off of it so far though...

Yes it is an awesome boost IMO

Also lots of awesome alternatives have come along too IMO

I too have been watching - I asked him if I could get on a list - to no avail - which is a little discouraging - I will continue to watch and see what it will take to acquire one.

supply and demand. The long he makes everyone wait the more hype builds for the smaller enclosure.. the more hype builds the longer the wait will be for the pedal.... I am a bit anxious myself

It makes sense. Why would he sell the new enclosure pedals when he can sell an unspecified, or not 'officially counted' number of old enclosure ones for $1K?

Just imagine, eBay Klons are boutique-boutique pedals. You can buy one and snob the snobs!
