Type (Bracket) YOUTUBE (Close bracket) enter the gibberish looking part of the YouTube code, in this case "mi9MLL8QOY0", with no space before or after the brackets, Type (Bracket) /YOUTUBE (Close bracket)

One of my favorite Cake songs to this day.

"Excess ain't rebellion.
You're drinking what they're selling.
Your self-destruction doesn't hurt them.
Your chaos won't convert them.
They're so happy to rebuild it.
You'll never really kill it."

Cake is definitely tasty. Though they committed the cliché of the band who, far into their career, makes a song about flying away (Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, others I'm forgetting…)

I really like these guys. Their sound is immediately identifiable.

Same here. Prolonging the Magic and Fashion Nugget are brilliant. Mexico is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Motorcade of Generosity was possibly their best. Just a kick arse album.

I love playing the bass line to 'where would I be' and the guitar tone on Fashion Nugget is killer.

I think that as a band, they offer a voice of sanity.

I also think that - like the dearly missed Morphine - they show how good writing and arranging tied with in-the-pocket, unindulgent playing makes for good music that someone other than guitar show patrons would like to listen to.
