Question Ceriatone new dumble models thread

What happened to the thread that talked about the new Ceriatone models (183, Ford etc)?

Can't find it.

Did it get nuked or moved?

Don't you mean Cat fighting?

Cause lets face it... when a Dumble thread comes up you get a bunch of Grown men fighting like a bunch of PMS ing women. Maybe they need to trade there mangina's in for a set of Stone's.

I hope I did not ruin it. I am really looking for info and hoping to share the info Nik shares with me. Sent him and email this morning. Some of us really do like D*mble amps.

For any that were wondering . . . .

Nik says the HRM MK2 runs EL34 and the "snubbers" and local feedback loop on the preamp tubes were eliminated.

So true .....

I have to admit I was caught up in this crap for years ....

I think what finally broke the spell and drove me back to the real world are the promoters and defenders of "the secret sauce" society.... to me this spin on elitism is beyond hysterical.

amps can no longer sound good (or are simply judged as inferior ) -- if they do not have some sort of "secret sauce" value/component/circuit or blessing incorporated into the build.

Truly remarkable --- but totally entertaining.

He didn't say specifically. Others know way more about the different circuit types than I but I can ask. I just love the tones available and love the prices offered at Ceriatone. I will hopefully have a three head setup running sometime next year.

Need descriptions & clips for each one

1) Overtone Special
2) Overtone Special S&M
3) Overtone Special "183"
4) Overtone Special FM
5) Overtone HRM
6) Overtone HRM Bluesmaster
7) Overtone HRM MK2

some are pretty obvious -- some not

I can remember when you were under the "Dumble spell" glad to see you broke free from it. I agree with you 100%. The Elitism attitude that is so common whenever a Dumble clone discussion pops up is crazy

Though I LOVE the tone of all the Dumble style amps and I am very happy to see that Nik is making this style of amp available at an affordable price for the common folk, I doubt I will ever own another D style amp... due to the very reasons you mentioned.
