Behringer Slow Motion pedal

I just ordered one of these and I'm wondering where it should go in the pedal chain. I know it's considered a noise gate so I'm assuming first or after the wah, but I'm not too sure since it acts like a volume pedal. Any suggestions are welcome.

I saw one of those at a pawn shop yesterday for $20.

What does it do?

I'm assuming it delays and swells the attack of sustained notes. Yes?

You'd be correct. It's a clone of the Boss Slow Gear. Does volume swells without a volume pedal. Sounded pretty decent from samples I've seen and it was only $30 so I figured why not give it a shot.

It's not considered a noise gate. It's not a gate, but an envelope. It's actually different. I recommend setting it first in the chain or after your compressor/dirt/boosters - depends on your pick-attack and preference.
Be aware: the Slow Motion pedal does rob some tone. I wouldn't have recommended it, since Behringer stuff is crap - really. I'm not trying to be a snob or anything, I've just been there.

Early in the chain - right after compressor, is where I have mine - which is not a Behringer but a VFE Bumblebee. Highly reccomend.

Eh, I know it's known as crap and I normally wouldn't have bought it, but for $30 bucks, if I hate it, I'm not gonna worry about it. Especially for something that won't be used a ton.
