I might be crazy, but...
I think I want to trade my superdelay for an m9. I love the delays on the dl4 as much as I do the superdelay. The only problem I have is the dl4 is noisy.. anyway.. what do you think? Is the m9 as noisy as the dl4? Should I do it.. or am I really crazy?

If you JUST want it for delays... there are things about the SD you will surely miss. There will be a whole new palette of delays for you in the M9 though, plus so much else. Its dead quiet, too.
If you just want delay and delay only... I'd stick with the SD. The M9 is a winner though, no doubt about it IMO.

I had a Super Delay and never liked it. It sounded thin and sterile to me. Mind you, I didn't like the DL4 either! :-) I'd rather have a DL8. Actually I do! I wish there was a small, programmable delay that sounded as good as my Maxon AD999.

Well.. it would be nice to get rid of my crappy crybaby wahs and use the m9's wah's if they are any good. I've got a diamond memory lane as well that I absolutely love that I will be keeping and using it for my modulated delays. So I'm mostly looking for a sterile delay pedal. When it comes to that.. the dl4 sounded just as good as the superdelay.. to me.. I suppose. Keep in mind this is all in a band context. The only thing that turned me off of the dl4 was the hissing noise.. I wouldn't of expected it from a digital delay pedal.

You know what.. I did a side by side shootout with my dl4 and superdelay.. and realized I was crazy. The superdelay is way better than the dl4. I must of been half a sleep the last time I tried them both out together.
