... and you thought NY Jet fans were bad...

...yeah we have earned a bad rep. I'm not gonna deny it. But we have never done anything like this that I'm aware of.

That father has FAR more self control than I would have.

Under NO circumstances would someone rip my son from my hand, tackle him to the ground leaving him crying AND walk away.

Wow. I am at a loss for words. Being witness to the chargers/ raiders rivalry over the years has been something. But this is the worst I have ever heard of in relation to a fans behavior.

The last charger/raider game I went to was when I was driving out of the stadium and beer bottles were flying across the hood of my car. I love football and like to poke fun at opposing fans, that I know, but never would a team mean so much to me that it would come to this.

Its fans like this that ruin the experience for the young ones.

I have a 7 year old son-the thought of someone tackling and hurting him makes my blood boil. This crap is getting out of hand.

Jets fans are harmless. Among the most passive in the NFL.

It's a shame one drunken idiot can have such an affect on a team's/city's reputation.
I can understand the family not wanting any media attention. I hope they can find a way to accept the offers of the two teams and do it under the radar.

I'm not sure what I would have done to that guy. Everything is a situation. Part of me would want to stomp the guy into the dirt. But the dad in me would just want to get my kid away from the situation. Plus I don't want my kid to see that kind of violence.

Some may be too young to remember this. Sam Wyche used to coach the Cincinnati Bengals and fans wouldn't stop throwing stuff onto the field one game. He took to the PA to ask the fans to stop, in classic Sam Wyche fashion.

I really don't know. I think it has something to do with the "show your t*ts" wing in the stadium, the fact that there was near riot in the stadium back in the 80's. Those are the only things that come to mind right now. No sarcasm meant by the way. I really don't know. From reading the NFL threads here I think the Jets and Cowboys are the most disliked teams out there.

That's messed up. I'll never understand that kind of attachment to a sports team.
