which is it: 10 vs 12 OR jensen vs eminence

i have recently been doing some work to my drri to try and get it to sound less sterile....i hit the jackpot. i put in some new tubes and cranked up the bias...wow, big difference. much more dynamic.

since i just love my silver face princeton reverb (still even better than the drri with the changes), i figured that i would try the drri through the pr 10" eminence legend speaker.

compared to the stock jensen, which is broke in, it sounds really nice. so then i did the opposite, tried the pr through the jensen, while comparing to the eminience.

in all cases, i preferred the legend, because i liked the really tight, punchy tone. so now i am confused - i wonder if i like the eminence better because i just like 10" speakers better than 12" OR if it is the tone difference between the jensen and the legend that i am liking.

anyone have similar experiences? i am trying to decide if i need to change 12 inch speakers or head in the direction of two 10's.
