That does sound like the best acoustic guitar tone I have heard from an electric guitar.... even most acoustics don't sound as good as that when plugged in.

Side note - some of the coolest piezo tones come from mixing it in with the magnetic pickups. I think of the piezo on my LP as the "sparkle switch."

I'd recommend the PRS for these reasons - First, the market is pretty depressed right now and you can find good deals on PRS hollowbodies. It's really a common model, piezo is an option as are various spruce/maple and mahogany configs.

They have a good quality piezo system. Right out of the box you have separate jacks for each signal, or you can blend them out the magnetic side for that 'sparkle' effect.

Plus, now you have a backup guitar, and it's a hollowbody which is a well designed guitar.

Yup - been looking around. Not too sure between the singlecut hollowbody, spruce or maple top/back.
