Sarah Bareilles vs. Taylor Swift

More pop "fodder". I'm kind of sick of hearing about how fantastic a songwriter TS is so.............. what do you think? Different styles, but still POP, still reaching up the Billboard so to speak. Thoughts?

when Sarah Bareille had that pop hit come out a couple years ago I dug it because I thought she looked pretty good, minus the big ol honkin nose there.

Neither one of them really impresses me. On the other hand, I suspect that I am not in their target demographic in any event.

I like Sarah way better... A couple summers ago it looked like she was going to be the break out hit with that "Love Song" tune, but Katy Perry came out with "I Kissed A Girl" and kinda stole what thunder Sarah might have had.

Still don't get Taylor Swift and probably never will.

What's with the rush of "vs. Taylor Swift" threads lately? Are you Nashville cats running numbers again? Haha...

This place is a lot like network TV programming. A show is successful, expect about 20 more just like it.

Sarah can actually sing. I always thought her song "Gravity" was quite good and powerful.

I caught her on Conan last week. Never heard of her before but unlike Taylor she can sing live.
