Fuzz for a cranked Vox?

As the post suggests, I can't find a relatively good fuzz for a cranked Vox. The kind of searing, thick fuzz leads I can normally get with a fuzz face or something doesn't seem to work so well.

I've tried the following:
BYOC Ram's Head Muff
Si Fuzz Face
Ge Fuzz Face
Monsterpiece Angry Dick 2000 (Jordan Bosstone clone)
Screwdriver
BYOC Rat (modded to MO'D specs)
ZVex Fuzz Factory

Haven't tried tonebenders yet but not really keen as well. Anyways, out of all of these the RAT and SD sounds the best to get faux fuzz tones but I'd rather have a proper fuzz instead.

The Muff worked well when the Vox was set up pretty clean but sucked the moment the Vox was cranked. Should I look at other muffs? Or tonebenders?

No Hotcake/Treble Boost recommendations though I'm WELL AWARE of how those sounds like with a Vox thank you!

Fulltone OctaFuzz, with the octave fx off, this is a thick and aggressive fuzz. I use it with my AC15 quite a bit.

I'm getting an AC15, how will that sound with a Sunface? I mean the Sunface sounds great on an AC4....As much as I love Vox, I'd love a Marshall but we gotta live within our means....

So far it's not a Swollen Pickle (which I am failing to make work - into a Genz Benz Black Pearl which is supposed to be AC 15 based).

I'm surprised you didn't like either the Ge or Si Fuzz Face... I love them into either my Magic Brit AC15 or a CCAC30... Which ones did you try?

What's the Chunky Cheese based on?

I have a Fuzz Factory by ZVex. Will give it a go again tomorrow.
My Fuzz Face clips too much that my tone kinda 'stutters' so that it ain't a smooth fuzz lead.
And yes, Rat works well for a faux fuzz tone.

You could read my first post before suggesting.......

Proanalog fuzzes work great - try to find a MkII used - Skinpimp recommendations are RIGHT on the money too - Ryan's pedals are top shelf!!!! My SP MkIII just nudges out Proanalog MkII by a whisker (through AC30) - Skinpimps sound killer through silverface Fenders too
