i would like to see session players reacting to a cube60 the way they react playing to the kemper

I also agree with this haha, that is one of the main thing things about the kemper that interests me- the amount of session musicians who are honestly very impressed with the unit.

Can you post a link to the clips? I'd like to see them.

My point was about professionally recorded clips by pro players. What comparison are you alluding to? I clearly didn't mean that the Cube 60 sounds as good.

Do you mean these clips?

How's it work at concert volume? How's it hold up on the road? How well does it sit in the mix during ensemble playing at concert volume?

None of those questions are answered by the clip.

Also, sorry if this has been covered, does anyone know where it is being manufactured. I know the designers are from Germany, but where is it being made?

Good question, maybe check the kemper site?

Edit: Had a quick look, couldn't find any info.

Nice list! Now my question is...with the included profiles, did they just capter a drive tone and any tweaks from there are generic passive eq/gain adjusts? Or did they capture the clean tone?

I want to be interested- but honestly I can't tell what this thing sounds like from any of the videos- they go to these great studios with these great players and engineers, and then it seems the audio they use is from a camera mic. The Princeton one with Dave Cleveland seems to be the console audio, but there's camera mic in there too and it's a bit chaotic. I find it confusing. I want to hear the audio from the console- The real amp, and then the Kemper. Back and forth, no effects. And I'd love to hear more chords!!!! Really simple playing!!! And a description of the signal chain- amp-cab-mic(s)-preamps.

So you imply they are endorsers

even if its true, i dont see a problem with their opinion

if they endorse a product they wouldnt use, then thats a big problem. I still think we should believe in ppl, give them benefit of doubt, before we have the unit to expose their opinion

BTW i decided to buy a nova system using pete's videos, reputation and opinion in a controlled enviroment and it turned out to be an excellent choice

Nice clean in the cube, but the overdriven sounds don't do it for me at all...

i thought it would be one with a really good sound, comparable with the units they claim to be modeling.

he looks over excited but pay attention to his speech, he best describe some of the models as nice clean, cool dynacomp, warmer tone... I dont think the reaction is the same, he only looks the same, he chooses words smartly and most of the time is just describing its capabilities with a smile in his face, but he doesnt compromise his opinion over complementing this amp. Thats just my opinion, ok?
