Identify this guitar....Halifax?
I found this today in a pawn shop. $80.00 but very dirty and the neck was bowed back like the truss rod had been overtorqed. Sure enough loosened up the truss rod a bit, new strings and a good cleaning and it sounds great. Looks all orginal, bolt on neck, made in Japan neckplate with serial number. I found a few things that said it might be an Ibanez sub company. Its old and has its share of scars, but it plays great.

L770088. It also has the star Ibanez tuners and the pickups look like super 70's. They are not labeled as such but the have the 6 number serial numbers on the back.

Well I looked it up this morning. It is an Ibanez made in December of 1977. It has super 70 pickups and the Ibanez star tuners on it. Other than that, its hard to find out much of anything about the Halifax branding.
