Arrow POD HD500 - First Impressions and a Problem

It just arrived and I've got it interfaced with my PC, and everything is working.

This unit really is a huge step up from previous PODs, at least as far as amp models are concerned.

From what I've used of the interface so far, it is really easy to figure out and use.

I don't think this is an Axe-FX level product, but it is definitely somewhere in the realm between the previous POD stuff and the Axe-FX, a good value for the money IMO.

If you own an Axe-FX, I don't see why you'd want this one, but I don't, and this one fits my budget right now, and it will do what I need as far as direct recording, working on songs, etc...

I am having one problem however. Since I interfaced it with my PC (Win7 64) all of my PC sound is no longer going to my PC speakers, but are being routed through the HD500 and out my headphones. I don't know what to do to correct this, reroute the sound or what have you.

All audio runs through the HD when hooked up, that's how it's supposed to run, no way to change it.

I believe I changed it via the control panel sound option (Vista).

I could run sound via the PC, HD or 11R via this menu. I changed it to work through the POD after using my 11R if I remember correctly.

Untrue.

Just open the sound control panel and enable and disable devices to your liking.
