Strings/D'Addario or DR Pure Blues
I play jazz, blues, classic rock on an ES 335. Love the D'Addario 11's and have used for years. Never tried the DR Pure Blues product. Any users here that can share the difference?

The DR's have less tension and have to be cut right (bent & then cut) to achieve the best result from them.
D'Addario's for me or Gibson Vintage Reissues (made now also by D'Addario). |

D'Addario has a great gauge they call ten-plus, which is really a set of 11's with half-size lighter on the first two strings (10.5 and 13.5). They also have "pure nickel" with nickel wraps which sound a little mellower than nickel plated steel. You usually have to order them online since they're not going to be on the shelf at the music store (Sweetwater has them or will get them for you).

I also use 11's on a couple of guitars. Although QC seems to be spotty with D'addario, I find them to be about the loosest and easiest bending. I've tried others, including DR (which are my favorite 10's). I found the DR to be much stiffer, didn't care for 'em. Next on my list are Pyramid; a little pricey but I understand they too are a comfortable loose wind.
