Analogman Beano Boost, how do you use it?

Hey all, how do you use your Analogman Beano Boost? Do you stack it, solo boost, just by itself? Its a pretty versatile pedal so I'm curious what other players are doing.

With my Reinhardt 18, I usually have it on for the whole song I'm using it on. I really like the way it pushes that amp and the crunch it adds. They are a good match together and I have a hard time turning it off once I have it on with that amp. I sometimes use it as a solo boost, but I never stack it with any other drive pedals.

crank up a 50 watt jmp 6 or 7 and then use it to give that last bit of singing sustain. or roll it back to clean up but it gives the guitar a bit of presence: a clean sustin that is very touch sensititive.

I used to strictly use it in normal (treble) mode with humbuckers and british type amps, especially loved it for brightening up neck buckers. Lately though, I've been using the full range boost b/n my Esquire and 5E3. Really turns country-ish tones into RAWK in a hurry.

I use mine into my DLS and sometimes after my Sunface.

I used to place my beano boost first in the chain to boost my signal with the knob at 11-12, but I don't use it like that anymore. Now I only use it when we play wish you were here. The switch is in normal position and the knob at 9. It gives me the same trebely sound of the guitar at the start of the song.

I don't stack it, just crank the normal channel of my AC30 to 12 o'clock then stomp on the Beano. it sings.

I use mine in front of my Carol-Ann OD2's lead channel for an alternate lead tone. I don't care for it with singles, but sounds awesome with humbuckers IMO

I like mine with an LP boosting a Marshall. The less stuff in between the pedal and the amp, the better. Also, the less between the guitar and the pedal, the better.

That's an awesome use of the pedal! it nails the wish you were here intro tone!

Does anyone use any other setting other than the middle toggle (treble)?

I use the mids toggle with my strat and fender amps and really love when it gooses my KOT or SFT. I will also leave it on a whole song, but just roll off the volume for clean sounds and roll it up when gettin dirty. Since it is being stacked into another pedal, the volume difference is not nearly as drastic as if I just clicked it on by itself. I love the beano! Pure ol' school rock 'n roll
