I came across a pic of a Tim Schroeder Solidbody - a slightly fuzzy pic.....but here you go....

I'll forever curse and praise my teacher, Frank Rumoro, for introducing me to Tim's guitars and his work in general. I'm a happy owner of Tim's black tele-style guitar, which is an amazing player. I also lucked into an early hollowbody of his, which I pretty much have to touch at least once a day. I'd post pictures if my photo skills had any merit.

I've never actually met Tim, but he's worked on several of my guitars, doing major fret/neck, electronics, and wood work, and they're all first rate. I don't know if I could ever leave Chicago for fear of subjecting my instruments to potentially inferior luthery. That's extreme, but if you're in the Chicago-land area I heartily recommend him.

Rumoro eh? Great guy and teacher!! I had also heard of Tim first through Rumoro. Since Frank is extremely knowledgeable, AND picky about these things, I really trust his opinion and recommendation to use Tim's services.

BTW.....Tim, your website looks great!!

The best thing about Tim......he does incredible high-end work like what's shown above, yet he's not above turning my lowly DeArmond M77T into a great player.

It's getting new pots/caps and a new set of frets as we speak. It will be the 3rd or 4th cheap-ass guitar that Tim has helped me turn into something special and/or at least enjoyable. :BEER

i heard schroeder's out of town for a couple of weeks...

as soon as he's back, i'm thinking about having him drop a couple of humbuckers into my tele....

i'd really like to convince him to make me a copy of his distortion box prototype...

that thing screams!

Too bad the name "Tim" is already taken.
