Has any one else had this same experience?

I have had my Suhr Antique for almost 1 year now and man it just keeps getting more organic and more vibrant all the time!!

you can feel the whole guitar vibrate when you strike a string!!

Yea, I have the same experience and it's a poly finish...been that way with every Suhr I've owned. My number 1 is a Classic and it vibrates like crazy through the body and neck. It's a 2005 I bought off eBay in 2007 from a guy in France and it still blows me away every time I play it.

I think every guitar have to have some time to "settle in", that's one of the reasons used/old/second hand guitars often feels great when new guitars can feel a bit "stiff".

My 2 Suhrs were amazing right out of the box, but even they got to the next level after a couple of month of playing.

Well first I must say that my Suhr has been amazing right out of the box, for sure!!!

Although I have owned lots of guitars in my life -
( American strats' - Fender CS' 56 Strat.. so on )
and have never experienced this much of a maturing of the guitar if you will...

Just did not expect it at all

Peace
Shane

it doesnt have to be a suhr ,,just about every guitar i have ever owned gets better the longer i have kept it..for some crazy reason they do seem to follow a pattern.

seems like each year older they get, on or around the year is when i hear and/or feel it change..

weird but true

I love mine, the more dinks and cracks it gets, the better.

And you know what? I never worry about scratching it up... unlike some of my other glossy beautiffic fiddles.

And here it was a couple years ago, brand new & shiny, LOL

I love the Suhr Antique series - In a genuinely bad decision, I passed on a T style guitar that John had at NAMM in maybe 2006, one of the first ones.

It was a 'freakin AMAZING guitar. I shouldda bought that one ....

Thanks, Dana O.

I remember this guitar. It came out in the same month as mine. Great axe!

John, I'd be thrilled to play that guitar again.

That particular guitar is one of those instruments that just stays with you. My memory is that I felt like I could easily go from Led Zeppelin to Roy Nichols just by varying my picking hand.

Yet Another amazing Suhr guitar, thanks, Dana O.
