double stacking amps in axefx

This is probably old hat for most of you, but I don't know that I'd tried it prior to tonight and really liked the results...

I was playing a patch with a '59 Bassman and decided to replace my drv with another amp instead. In this case I used the Double Verb followed by the Bassman and WOW!!! The two combined sounds WAY better than either of them alone. Much more present (ie. close) and warm.

I moved everything over one slot and reinserted my drive and saved the patch... I'm gonna try it out tomorrow morning live.

I know I've run 2 amps in parallel before, but I don't think I'd run them one-after-another.

That's essentially 'slaving' them, running them in series like that.

Tis cool!

May or may not sound better with the poweramp disabled in the first amp. Turn Sag to zero in the first amp block.
