i've been using a TC Electronics Sustain/EQ, since 1979.
but, no matter what we all might say? you should try a few different ones, in order to better make yr own decision. of course. dt / spltrcl |

I hate to say it but the place where I'm likely to try such a pedal is usually way too noisy, so I like to get some idea in advance.
So thanks for the suggestions. . |

The Pigtronix Philosopher would be an excellent choice for slide, as it provides more sustain, with lower levels of noise at strong sustain settings, than the average comp pedal. You might also like the Rothwell Love Squeeze or the Strymon OB-1 for their super low noise at strong settings.
And even though I don't support buying new TC Electronic products, I have to agree that their old Sustain+Para EQ pedal is a great choice.
