Looking for live music spot to see shows during the NAMM Show.

With NAMM going on, there has got to be some great shows in the LA and Orange County areas for those who don't have badges this year. But I am having a tough time finding any.

Who is playing where the next couple of night?

Does anyone know if you need a NAMM badge to see the shows are the Marriott?

A friend of mine, Matt O'Ree, is on the Hilton stage for free at midnight tonight. He is a smoking player, probably best known on TGP for winning the GC KoB a few years back.

Around these parts he's the guy the rest of rest guitar geeks go see. We usually wind up sneaking out the door mid-evening to go home and practice. Some folks also know him as the protoge of the late, great Bernie Brausewetter. Also just a plain good guy and gear freak. Say hi if you bump into him.

I did catch a little of his set last night. It was good. By that time I had heard so much music I was getting tone deaf. I would like to see him again some time.
