Sounded like Carlton/Ford in the beginning

Very cool! Been wanting to hear how that amp would sound in Mattes capable hands! Very nice....

Sounds amazing!

Matte demo'd that amp over the phone for me...
Incredible in that boy's hands.

Also incredible is that as awe-inspiring as Matte's clips always are, they only represent a fraction of his facility/proficiency/range.
Matte's such a monster talent (but you know this, Basso).

What he said...except methinks the amp don't matter in his hands. It always sounds like Matte-which is a good thing.

Matte's got a lot of soul in his playing. His posts here are so technically impressive that it's easy to miss, but it's the stuff he's expressing that always knocks me out.

I'd agree with that, he's a superlative musician. Btw was that clip very short?

Best, Pete.

That boy has it going on. Something scary happening in that musical brain of his. Wish I had a measurable percentage of his talent and vision.

Love the pedal steel licks.

Cool how he repeats part of that downward lick and then at the fade out does some thematic develoment of the earlier idea. Awesome in every aspect.

Hope this clip helps to advance everyone involved as all are deserving.

nice tones, the clips doesn't seem to make the amp justice. Cool Vai-esque shredding nonetheless.

Vai-esque? Damn if Vai sounded like that I'd listen to him.
Then again maybe it's a Vai instructional tape he claims as his playing.

I agree with Ed... I WAY WAY prefer Matte to Vai. I do understand where Marcello is coming from. As Ed said, it sounded like Matte!!!! That is a good thing from a player point of view. Matte has such a highly developed style that he has his own voice! I also thought the clean bits were some of my fave Matte clean tones. The OD was excellent as well, but more nondescript (as in not recognizeable as a certain amp)

Scott
