6G3 channel jumping

Any of you guys with a 6G3 Fender Deluxe or clone/copy jump channels?
Pros?
Cons?

Yep, I jumper the channels. I plug into the Bright channel with a patch lead connecting the 2nd input to the Normal channel 1st input. I just add in a little of the normal channel to fatten it up, sounds great at lower volumes. As you crank the amp, less is required from the normal channel to achieve that sound. Very fat and full.
I have a Scumnico 65watt 12" speaker in the amp, love it thanks Jim.
