How would a Marshall blended with an Egnater sound?

So I have a GSP1101, but it doesn't give me the core tone I'm looking for. I have a Marshall AVT head, but i need something flatter to round it out, as my Marshall has good bass and treble but subpar mids. I was looking at the Egnater Tweaker, as it's affordable and really versatile. My plan was to run those two amps in the loop of the GSP1101 and bring it in as my core tone. Any suggestions?
