Dirty chassis

I just scooped a '72 Hiwatt custom 100 and it has never been cleaned. Is there a process and a good cleaner that amp techs will use to buff these old timers up. Did I mention it is DIRTY Any help would be great, thanks.

De-oxit and de-natured industrial ethanol is what I'd use.
