Looking for my 2007 Spalted Maple Zion Custom Classic

Over the past several years I have had alternating fits of GAS and a need of cash for day to day bills. In one of the cycles when I needed cash, I got rid of my 2007 Zion Custom Classic in a Spalted maple outfitted in an ssh configuration with Joe Bardens and with an ebony finger board with original dove inlays. It was also plekked..

I would like to get it back. I am willing to trade any if the following for it: Gibson Custom Shop ES 335, Gibson ES 355 BB King Lucille, my Gene Baker B3 Earth/Wind.

Please let me know if any of you know where it might be.

Had a fit of GAS for something else, and this was in the range of the value of the other guitar , which allowed me to do a straight up trade. Now, looking at the photos of my old Zion, I am really having traders remorse. It was a one of a kind guitar specifically built for me......Wish I could find it!

Smile Finally Found My Spalted Maple and Brought Her Home

Well....

After two years of hunting, I finally found my beloved one of a kind 2007 Zion Custom Classic Spalted Maple SSH with Bardens, that I had designed and Dale Brown of Zion built for me. Being a total knucklehead, in a fit of GAS in 2008, I traded it away for a Les Paul only to experience an awful case of trader's rmorse several months later. The Les Paul is now long gone, but I was determined to recover my Zion. After looking everywhere, I had given up hope in ever finding her again, but lucky for me, out of the blue in early April, I was contacted by a fellow GDPer collecter from Bejing, who had my guitar. After some quick negotiations, we agreed on a deal several weeks ago. Then my anxious waiting took over. The guitar arrived safe and sound this afternoon. My guitar is in the exact condition as it was when it left my studio in 2008--literally mint. With the distance she traveled over the past several years, it is amazing that it is still in mint condition....

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have her back in the fold! This one will never leave my collection ever again......

Thanks guys......By the way, another spalted maple classic just popped up on eBay. Although it is spalted and has an ssh configuration, like mine, it has a maple fretboard and black hardware.....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zion-Classic...item46034202bb

Looks like this one was built around 6-12 months after mine. Dale must have had my design/build in mind when he built this one.

So cool. What a great story, and a great denouement. Very happy for you.

Whenever I toy with the idea of selling gear, my first thought is how easy is it going to be to get this again?
Unfortunately, I've acquired quite a bit of unique gear over the years, so I accumulate more than I sell...
