Congratulations to the OP...buying my first house was the smartest thing I ever did.

(I'm not so sure about selling it to please my then-wife, but in the long run I have only a few regrets.)

It's a foreclosure but not a pithole foreclosure-believe me I saw quite a few. If the real estate market doesn't continue to tank, now is a great time to buy.
