Are there good neodymium speakers?

I'm a speaker fan.. I prefer high power handling, heavy magnet speakers like Fanes with a rolled off top end and neutral character leaning a bit to the dark side

Are there any good neodymium 12" speakers that would suit me?

I'd love to shave a few kilos off a combo amp i've got planned

Best regards -T

Jensen Neo Tornado.

After average break-in period the top end is tamed, I believe. Has a relatively neutral character. The Jensen Neo 100 is definitely neutral and sounds really good, also.

For a long time I was unable to.find one that worked for me. I played and owned several. I love the EV12ML Speaker. I had not found another speaker that could handle the watts, have a neutral tone, allowing the uncolored tone of the amp to come through. I believe I have finally found one. I have been hesitant to give a review until they were properly broken in. They are, and the Eminence Delta Pro Lite 2512 model is a neo magnet version of the Delta Pro. It is the only Neo magnet I can recommend. It is the only other speaker I can recommend period. I like it better than the original Delta Pro speaker. They also.weigh only 7 lbs, and handle 250 w.

I wouldn't put the Emi neos I bought (and quickly re-sold) in the same room with my Jensens. But that's me.

Which amplifiers have you used the Deltalite with? You're the first person I've seen around here with firsthand experience with the speaker.

I'm using regular Jensen Neo's in my homebrew 12/10 amp and they sound less colored than others I've tried (which could be a good or bad thing). Very even sounding and tight with no flab...and easy on the back.

Whatever happened to the Weber Neo speakers like the Neo Blue Dog etc ? They have/had a few prototypes available for sale on their website, but they haven't launched the full-line yet. Weber said that they planned on rolling it out Nov-Dec 2010. Anyone have any update on this, coz they almost never take calls.

Cheers !!!
