Reverb not working on a Mesa Boogie F-30
I picked up an F-30 on sweet deal due to non-functioning reverb. The amp sounds beautiful and I wasn't concerned because I am using it with an HD500, but I would like to get the verb fixed for when I am lazy and just want to plug in. Before I send it in to a shop to get raped on an estimate, is there anyone out there with this amp that had the reverb stop working and have any thoughts as to what it may be?

is the reverb completely dead or is there a tiny bit when you crank the knob?
some of the most common reverb problems are; 1. the cable 2. tank 3. tube 4. ground if you can do a quick trouble shoot to check these, you may be able to save some $$. good luck. |

Yeah, be sure to check inside the tank. The only two times my tank reverb has ever failed is when a wire has broken loose within the tank itself. If this is the case, just apply a little solder and it's good to go.

Completely dead. I will check all the connections tomorrow.
