Weber MyTone?

Anyone here have a mytone done by weber? Im seriously thinking of doing one, im not really trying to "clone" another speaker or anything, just doing a custom one-off.

Well, I did it some years back before he had the 1225 model. So it was those specs I used in the mytone area. Worked fine, got my speaker fairly quickly if I remember right.

They offer the Blue Dog 15 as a 50 watt speaker. I had them build it with a 100 watt voice coil at 4 ohms, with light doping, for my Bandmaster combo. You can pick which cone, voice coil rating, dust cap, doping and frame you want. If it's able to be done, they'll build it. I would think certain frames would only be compatable with certain voice coil sizes (wattage).

I would think you'd need a ton of speaker knowledge to need something that's not covered by todays market. Either that or you'd have to have a special need situation with an amp. I have several off the shelf Webers, great speakers, great service.

I have a couple of ideas that no one else really sells, im just happy that unlike other companies thet'll build me just one.

Thanks for the replies, was everyone happy with how their speaker came out? No huge waits or anything?
