Do you enjoy a good buzz?
Hey,
so I've been drinking a little this fine evening and have hit what I'd describe as a nice solid buzz. I'm not drunk but definitely not sober, that in between thing you know. So anyways since alcohol has been a topic of discussion here let me ask you: Do you enjoy getting a good buzz going? Do you feel that different drinks give you different kinds of buzzes? What's your favourite drink to get one going? Cheers! |

Does anybody not enjoy that?
![]() I don't like drinking too much (I get very dizzy/nauseated before I can get drunk, anyhow), so that's generally what I shoot for if I'm out. I'm not much of a drinker, though. Since I got down to my "proper" BMI, I can only drink about half what I used to. I'm not a 'quantity' drinker. |

Yes I do love catching a buzz. It's Friday and every Friday evening me and the missues have 2-3 cocktails after the kids hit the hay. Gotta go buy ice and limes now.

I enjoy the buzz of living sober. Not to be a buzz-kill, but for me it works.

I love a good buzz, just had my last for the evening. I prefer a good wine buzz, but a few beers works as well

A bit o' wine, a bit o' weed...sometimes it's just what the doctor ordered.

i think good scotch provides the most enjoyable buzz. but not too much...maybe a shot or 2 but no more. i think it goes better with playing than beer. might be a bit expensive but it takes less.

Sure. Cheap supermarket white rum with caffeine free diet coke. Very occasionally might add a toke or two - especially if I'm going to watch a concert video.

I unwind on friday evenings with a bottle of Chimay Cinq Cents. That's all I need and not too much of it.

A good snort of Maker's (neat) while enjoying a hawt baaath... listening to tunes... this is more finer than somewhat and a fine way to decompress/ sooth the soul. My attitude... never hurts to have a little brown occasionally when it's past yardarm.

On my second G&T now.. buzz is starting to turn into something more.. best take it slow eh?
I've found that liquor does give a more intense buzz than beer. |
