What is your favorite scale length?

Just wondering what everybody's favorite scale length is. You can vote for than one if you can't decide.

24.75 just seems to fit me and my small hands best but I have them all and the PRS 25 is a good compromise...

I like the rich clear trebley piano-like tone that comes out of a 25 1/5 scale. Playing up past the 12th fret is also a little bit less crowded for my fingers.

I switched over by the way about 10 years ago when my music preferences changed. Prior to that I was an LP fanatic.

27" is the nicest feeling one among guitars I've tried.

24.75. More comfortable to play an F chord and easier to bend.

whatever the instrument is supposed to have to sound and feel like it was meant to.

25 1/2" for my tele, 24 3/4" for my les paul (actually 24.6-something, but that's neither here nor there), 34" for my P bass, and 13 29/32" for my mandolin.

i voted 25.5, but that's only if it has a tune o matic style bridge. maybe this is obvious, but i've found that the kind of bridge you have changes how the strings feels. a reg strat bridge at 25.5 feels much different than a guitar at 25.5 w/ a tune o matic.

24.5 wasn't on the list but I just got a PRS Mira X that I'm loving.
It has a 24.5" scale.

The tricky chords that I can't reach on a 24.75 I also can't reach on a 25.5.
25.5 is the longest I can go for any sort of stretchy stuff in the lower positions but does provide a bit more space at the high end, so, I give it an edge for that.

I believe it's actually 24.625 or 25 5/8 on the Gibson LP. Everything seems to make a difference on TGP.

I absolutely love how a LP plays, but I like the sound of a tele just a tad more. What I need is a set neck tele with bridge and stop tail-piece. That may be my ultimate guitar.
