It is a fantastic piece of kit. Been thinking of selling mine if you are after one. As amazing as it is I am up to 6 treble boosters now and I think I will be sticking with the Beano Boost. Nice and simple.

I had one for a while and foolishly sold it...I kept my D12 Dyna-Ranger because it was a little smaller...both are great TB's but I think the Plum Crazy had a few more tonal options...it was well made and quiet(for a TB)...I'll probably grab one again someday...

Cool treble booster. Switchable transistors, switchable tone caps. Extended gain range gets into fuzz territory. It's explosive. A great all in one treble booster. Excellent build quality.

Fantastic pedal. Before getting the Squawk I had a PCE Ranger. The Ranger was very usable especially with the cut knob, but the Squawk is way more versatile.

It's my favorite treble booster out there. But I think you already know that

If you are worried about unity with a treble booster you may not want to purchase one. Unity would be 9 clock or so maybe.

i have my reasons.......only1/2 of the level knob is BOOST the rest is SAT.i am ,i suppose, trying to find out how much of a boost it has compared to the BEANO.the BEANOS level knob travels the "whole distance" for boost

The Beano at full volume is the same as the Squawk at noon. The Squawk at 9 oclock is about the same as the Beano at noon. That is about all I remember when I was comparing the two.
